District of San Isidro, Lima, Peru
The Westin is a high-end hotel and convention center in Peru’s capital city Lima. The hotel has 301 rooms and was until 2011 Peru’s tallest building. It was designed by Peruvian architect Bernardo Fort-Brescia and completed in 2011. It provides an undisturbed view on the Pacific Ocean. Until today it has South America’s largest conference and cele- bration hall with a capacity for 2.000 people.
The inside and outside of the cascade-like hotel are very contrasting; reflective glass versus wood and stone.
